Most makes and models of FX pedals can be repaired. Some of the more high tech models can present problems but very often the problems are more to with socket faults loose connections, broken solder joints etc. Some pedals are protected against incorrect power adaptor connection but unfortunately many people fail to appreciate the importance of using the correct adaptor.
